About
Robin L. Jenkins
My husband Shaun, son Ryan, our dog “Danni”, and I are lucky enough to live in the bedroom community of Tsawwassen, in the municipality of Delta, British Columbia, a suburb of Vancouver, Canada. Geographically, we are located on a small peninsula at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, and about one mile from the U.S. border at Point Roberts, Washington.
Shaun and I have both lived in Tsawwassen the majority of our lives. With a population of about 20,000…just blocks from the ocean, about 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and 2.5 hours from Whistler, B.C…we can’t think of a better place to live and to raise our son.
Currently, I do most of my work in my home studio, which I try to contain to about one half of our family garage…though I seem to gradually be encroaching on the rest of the space. I’m fortunate to be able to “pot” at home, and this suits my current needs.
I work full time in a field completely unrelated to clay, so for the time being I try to be content in stealing what moments I can to work with and learn more about my passion. There is so much to learn, so much to do.
